Intellectual Property Policy

This Intellectual Property & Copyright Policy ("Policy") governs all intellectual property made available by Holiday Lights University LLC ("Holiday Lights University," "HLU," "Company," "we," "our," or "us").

By accessing or using our Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to comply with this Policy.

1. Ownership of Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise expressly stated in writing, all content, materials, products, resources, and intellectual property made available by Holiday Lights University are owned exclusively by Holiday Lights University LLC or its licensors and are protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, trade secret, and other applicable intellectual property laws.

Protected materials include, without limitation:

• educational training programs;
• instructional videos;
• downloadable resources;
• written materials;
• worksheets;
• templates;
• calculators;
• spreadsheets;
• business systems;
• operational workflows;
• standard operating procedures;
• methodologies;
• frameworks;
• processes;
• instructional guides;
• presentations;
• marketing resources;
• graphic design assets;
• branding assets;
• visual media;
• photography;
• video content;
• audio content;
• software;
• digital tools;
• databases;
• website content;
• logos;
• trademarks;
• service marks;
• proprietary educational materials; and
• all future updates, improvements, additions, derivative works, and related materials.

Protection extends not only to the individual materials themselves, but also to their unique selection, arrangement, organization, presentation, sequencing, and instructional structure.

Nothing contained within our Services transfers ownership of any intellectual property to you.

2. License Granted

Upon purchasing an authorized Holiday Lights University educational training program, you are granted a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to access and use the Services solely for your own internal business and educational purposes.

This license is granted only to the original purchaser.

No ownership rights are transferred.

All rights not expressly granted remain the exclusive property of Holiday Lights University LLC.

3. Permitted Use

Subject to these Terms, you may use Holiday Lights University materials solely in connection with operating your own business.

This includes the ability to customize and use educational resources, business documents, marketing resources, graphic design assets, operational templates, calculators, and other downloadable materials that are expressly provided for Student use.

You may modify these materials to reflect your own business name, branding, pricing, contact information, and operational preferences.

Any customized versions you create for your own business remain subject to the license granted under this Policy.

4. Restrictions

Except as expressly permitted by Holiday Lights University, you may not:

• reproduce, copy, or duplicate our Services;
• distribute or redistribute any Content;
• upload Content to file-sharing websites or cloud storage for public access;
• sell, sublicense, lease, rent, or otherwise commercially distribute our materials;
• publicly display or perform our Content;
• create derivative educational products substantially based upon our proprietary materials;
• remove or alter copyright notices, trademarks, or branding;
• share account credentials;
• provide unauthorized access to any person;
• circumvent technological protection measures;
• scrape, harvest, or automatically collect Content;
• reverse engineer proprietary business systems or methodologies;
• incorporate our Content into another educational platform, software product, membership, template library, or commercial offering.

5. Downloadable Resources

Holiday Lights University may provide Students with downloadable educational resources and business materials.

These resources are licensed—not sold.

Unless otherwise stated, Students may use these resources within their own businesses as intended.

Students may not redistribute, resell, publish, sublicense, or otherwise make these resources available to third parties.

6. Marketing & Design Resources

Holiday Lights University may provide various marketing resources, creative assets, branding elements, design templates, promotional materials, visual content, or other business development resources.

Unless otherwise specified, these resources may be customized and used solely to promote the Student's own business.

Students may not:

• redistribute the original files;
• sell or license the resources;
• include them within another template collection;
• incorporate them into another educational product;
• claim authorship of the original materials.

Holiday Lights University retains all ownership of the original intellectual property.

7. Media Content

Holiday Lights University may include instructional photography, installation footage, demonstration videos, visual examples, and other multimedia content throughout the Services.

These materials are provided solely as part of the educational experience.

Students may not reproduce, redistribute, extract, commercially exploit, or republish this media without prior written permission.

8. Artificial Intelligence & Automated Systems

Students may not use Holiday Lights University Content to:

• train artificial intelligence models;
• improve machine learning systems;
• build automated datasets;
• generate competing educational materials;
• recreate substantial portions of the Services through AI;
• scrape Content for automated processing.

Nothing in this section prohibits the ordinary use of AI tools to assist in operating your own business, provided you do not upload or disclose substantial portions of Holiday Lights University's proprietary materials.

9. Copyright Enforcement

Holiday Lights University actively protects its intellectual property.

Unauthorized use may result in one or more of the following actions:

• suspension or termination of access;
• removal of licenses granted under this Policy;
• Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) takedown notices;
• cease-and-desist demands;
• civil legal action;
• recovery of damages, costs, and attorneys' fees where permitted by law; and
• any other remedies available under applicable law.

10. Reporting Intellectual Property Concerns

If you believe Holiday Lights University intellectual property has been copied, distributed, or otherwise used without authorization, please contact:

Please include sufficient information to identify the material and the alleged infringement.

11. Reservation of Rights

Holiday Lights University reserves all rights not expressly granted under this Policy.

No provision of this Policy shall be interpreted as granting ownership of any intellectual property unless expressly authorized in writing by Holiday Lights University LLC.
